Is booking a Holiday online safe?

Most of us adults have booked a holiday for ourselves and our families, either to enjoy a Staycation in England or perhaps to travel further afield and a foreign vacation to an exotic location?  The traditional way to book a family holiday would be to go into a reputable Travel Agents, pick up a brochure, take it home, go through several options with your family and then go back to the Travel Agent for them to book everything for you.  This is a well tried and trusted method and lots of adults still choose to book their expensive vacations in this way.

More and more families however are choosing to look at holiday options in the comfort of their own homes and safely book their family holidays online.  Most Web based travel companies use an Online Payment Gateway system so that credit cards are used safely and cannot be cloned or copied.  All Credit cards are also protected by the banks that supply them to their customers so that if there is a problem at any stage of the booking you are able to get any money spent refunded easily.

The holidays that are booked online are often slightly cheaper and you have the ability to book airport parking, pay for suitcases to go in the hold, sort transfers to and from your destination airport to your chosen accommodation and easily arrange any excursions you may want to go on.
